Overviews

The Overview presentations are about some of the system drivers, things like the weather systems, some of the soils and issues like fire which play such an important role in shaping the ecology and landscape of the Top End.  

The Habitats section gives you an introduction to the key habitas of the Top End.  These all apply in Kakadu as well as across the Top End and there are some extra sequences in the Kakadu section for special elements relating to Kakadu National Park.

Kakadu is a very special part of the Top End.  It is listed on the world hertitage register for its Cultural and Ecological values and these sequences help you understand some of the key aspects of Kakadu.

The Wildlife section gives information about the key wildlife species in the Top End and Kakadu.
